Sometimes simplicity in a comfortable shawl is just what's needed. The Postigo shawl is knitted from the top down, ever increasing with simple yarn overs along the sides down to the ribbed contrast band and finally the rich in texture boucle yarn.

It's an easy knit. The pattern is fully written. The shawl measures 71" i overall length and 19" in middle height.

Knit kits include

• C1- A skein of Salt & Pepper, 250 yards/100 grams a skein in a DK/Light worsted weight in an Acrylic/Polyester blend, washable in gentle cycle.
• C2- Mini skein, 26 yards worsted-red in a cotton/acrylic.
• C3- Mini skein, 26 yards aran weight boucle yarn in another salt & pepper color in a Cotton/Acrylic.
• The printed pattern and emailed PDF file
• All packaged in a convenient project bag

Notions needed

• US size 11 (8 mm) circular needle 40” (102 cm) in length.

• Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge:  8 sts and 20 rows in 4” in garter stitch, counting 11 ridges.

Techniques applied:  Knitting, purling, increasing, color changes, binding off. Blocking is optional. The sample shawl was not blocked.
